Meteorologist Dylan Dreyer stood in for colleague Al Roker at the 96th

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City Thursday.

"Today" helped host NBC's coverage of the parade from the street

conducting interviews with stars including Jake Lacy

("A Friend of the Family" and "White Lotus") while

colleagues Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb hosted from a post

near Macy's flagship in New York's Herald Square.

At the beginning of the parade, the "Today" team shared that Dreyer, 41,

would be filling in for Roker.

Roker has been away from the "Today" show after being hospitalized for blood clots.
